Bryant named to All-NBA First Team
Lakers All-Star guard Kobe Bryant was named to the 2005-06 All-NBA First Team. Bryant led the NBA this past season in scoring with 35.4 points per game, while posting totals of 5.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists. The honor is Bryant’s fourth All-NBA First Team selection.

NEW YORK -- Leading vote-getter Bruce Bowen and defensive player of the year Ben Wallace were among six players who made the NBA All-Defensive first team Thursday.

Bowen received 55 points, one more than Wallace, in making the All-Defensive team for the sixth consecutive season. The San Antonio forward is regarded as one of the league's best defenders for his ability to contain anyone from small guards to big forwards. Wallace was selected to the first team for the fifth straight year. The Pistons center recently was chosen as the league's top defensive player for the fourth time in five years.

The Suns became only the eighth NBA team in history to come back from a 3-1 series deficit with their 121-90 home victory over Los Angeles on Saturday in Game 7.
